Exotics at Cuatro Ciénegas

Hello,

I know there was a program to eradicate the exotic species Hemichromis guttatus and Oreochromis auratus into the Cuatro Ciénegas and that the government stopped it because the costs were to high.

So what's the current status of thes exotics and the natif species in Cuatro Ciénegas.

Are the exotics still inscreasing and the natifs decreasing?

Is there another program planned to take care of this problem?

If i'm right H. guttatus was presumed extirpated in the Poza San Jose del Anteojo because of the program. Is this still right?

Does the H. guttatus, after the program was stopped, appears in new habitats or not?

hi there, i went to cuatro cienegas in November, and unfortunaly, i found a lot of people from the University of Nuevo Leon, catching a lot of jewel cichlid or Hemichromis, and from what i see is that the population from this cichlid its becoming a little hard to take away from the habitat, the goverment its doing its effort but i think that is not enough, maybe Juan Miguel, will know something more about this topic, greetings
