Drilled tank & build in overflow box (Wet-Dry filtration)

Hello gang,
I have a question and I need answer ASAP, need to order the new tank.
Here it is:
I am getting 110 gal tank (48 x 18 x 29), and can't decide whether to get pre-drilled tank and use wet/dry filtration, or stick with regular tank and keep external canister/canisters. See, I did use wet/dry on my 180 gal years ago, and it seems very good and easy to maintain, but I never had pre-drilled tank with build in overflow box inside. It's bothering me a little, such to have drilled tank and to see that piece (box) inside, but currently I have very limited space around the tank and it better off to have all hoses/tubes inside the cabinet, and tank itself.
What you guys think?

Get the tank pre-drilled if the cost is not prohibitive. Your filtration capacity is higher allowing you more flexibility in stocking your tank and it's a much cleaner look especially for a show tank.

That’s what I though, just worry about if drilled tank and build in overflow, wont have any issue down the road, like leaking, compromise tank structure, etc
Guess it’s not if many pro's using it.
By the way tank is 110 gal not 90 gal (48 x 18 x 29).
Do you have a suggestion what brand and size wet/dry to get?
The guy who I am getting tank from, sell Oceanic line wet/dry products, he recommend Oceanic 2 for 110 gal. But I prefer to hear you and other experience member of this board, I also believe that it is never too much filtration, and I always try to exceed recommended numbers, running more, but like I mention above, I d not have much experience with wet/dry filtration, so I like to do it right from the start, even if it cost more.

you could easily DIY the sump. and then it would be a fraction of the cost of a ready made wet/dry filter

Egreed, a glass sump is much cheaper, less acrylic, and easier to maintain because you can take everything apart.

I can't help you with brands, I've not had anything but the Marineland Tidepool.
