Resun King 5F pump impeller

Postby lemurtx » Tue Nov 13, 2007 2:27 pm

I have an old Resun King 5F pump that needs a new impeller. I've looked online, found them in Australia, hoping to find them in the US. I've contacted several online stores that sell the pumps, but no one seems to have the replacement parts. I have one store that is going to contact their importer to see what they can find out. It may be a long shot, but I'm going to Germany at the end of the month, and wondered whether I'd have an easier time finding a replacement over there. I did manage to find the impellers for the 4 & 6 models in Germany (on eBay), but not the 5 or 5F. Does anyone either know where I might be able to buy this in the US, or barring that, somewhere in Germany? I will be near Rottweil & Stuttgart (actually flying into Frankfort). From the prices I've seen, it' seems like it would be better to buy a new pump, but thought I'd cover all the bases.

Thanks! Vielen Dank!
Yvonne
(mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut! German terms for the impeller are appreciated! :D )

These are great pumps that are very popular in Australia and Asia, but not as well known elsewhere.
I and others have used the #6 and #5 in pond and aquarium maintenance with good results and the impellers rarely go out. The 5F is the Asian designation for the North American version of the #5.

A Yahoo Search will bring these impellers up at a North american Vender of these impellers:

Not to offend Google lovers, however since my primary occupation is aquatic research and SEO (Search Engine Optimization), I find Google searches the worst among the big three for these types of searches since they tend to weigh to heavily on "authority sites" which often gives credibility to sites with little to do with the information in question.
