Plywood/glass tank question

Post by joker1535 » Mon Sep 05, 2011 3:26 pm

I am building a plywood tank 96 long 24 wide and 18 high. I know lots of guys are coating it with epoxy, but I got another idea.
Is it possible to put thinner glass on the back and sides against the plywood and just 1/2 glass at the front???
Anybody ever do that?
All opinions are appreciated. Thanks

Safety should be your main concern, here is a calculator or two...
