Electric Yellow with enflamed nostril

Hi. For the past 2 weeks one of my Electric Yellows has had an enflamed nostril. It looks like a big red pimple. I'm sure he is not able to draw water in on that side, but other than that he seems perfectly fine. Any ideas?

I am seeing the same problem with my blood red parrot cichlid.. i was hoping someone had posted some advice on here.. guess not.

Could you tell us a little more about your tank and the problem?

Size?
What sort of water changes they get?
Tankmates (#, type, etc)?
When did the problem start?
Do you have a pic of the problem?
