Apisto iniridae

Postby coralbandit » Tue Dec 06, 2016 5:55 pm

Hey all I am new here and have had good luck breeding my iniridae!
I believe they are stock from Peter Durkin?
Being new to these guys and that fact they seem 'rare' if dare say I have a few questions if I can ask?
What will these fish be worth since I can't find them anywhere to compare? Not to be rude.
Will the AquaBid crowd be my avenue of sales since my LFS can't move my hongslio fast enough?
Or am I just best off offering some to friends and staying more focused on 'in demand' dwarfs like rams and such?
Thanks all,
Tom

I can't give you a value for your iniridae. Much depends on age/size at which they are sold, quality, etc. Although once uncommon in the hobby, imported stock is imported now on a fairly regular basis. I suggest you check some online sites like Aquabid or Wet Spot for retail prices.

Thanks Mike!
Just yesterday they spawned for their third time!
The first set of fry is well and active in their own 10g...
The pair seems to have become 'regular' as their breeding record is 11/21 ,12/4 , 12/18 ...
I will be moving the second set in with the first maybe tomorrow and stealing the eggs tomorrow...
