In your country, do you need a permit for fishing?
In many place, when you are collecting fish, you often see guys in uniform coming to you and asking what you are doing...
So, when you are a foreigner and you have fish... $$

If you mean Uruguay, the answer is yes you need.
But even if you have the permit (collecting+export) you also need the permit of the owner of the land....and this is the same for everyone....foreigners or not.

I'm getting confused. A question: at the old time does Axelord buy Bleher's pics and then did not allow Bleher to use same pics on Bleher's book, or some other ways around? Is it that the photographer won't be able to publish his pics elsewhere once he sold them to someone?

BTW wondering why is this topic in this section and not general section anyway?

But what if you have good reasons for visiting these countries?

The Bush administration in the USA has figured out a fix for this problem. They kidnap people from around the world and take them to unbelievable prisons. Now you have to be afraid of being arrested wrongly wherever you are, so you might as well go were you want to go.

Dean, you are right, and I'm very sorry this is the case. In fact, our own (NL) government helps this :(

Here is Heiko's report on the whole thing:

IMHO, he will be vindicated in the long run of any wrong-doing. It will certainly be interesting to see how things develop (if they do) though.

interesting account.

But I wish he'd have spent a bit more time formatting the text so that it could be read in paragraphs.
