Discussion about cichlids from Africa other than Rift Lake

I have 3 ansorgi that are about 2" each and 5 tinanti that are all under 2". Will these fish get along in a 55 gallon?
There is a sandy bottom with lots of rocks and caves in the tank.
Thanks
Bob

I don't see any problem with that although if you were to get both the ansorgi and the tinanti breeding at the same time it may cause chaos!
Make sure the tinanti have a good water flow to ensure well oxygenated water. This becomes more important the bigger they become.

They should be fine together, especially in a tank that size. Both are docile fish in my opinion.
I've kept both, but only bred he tinanti. Even when defending a nest, they aren't overly aggressive.
