Is anyone keeping Sarotherodon caudomarginatus?

Thanks,

Not that I am aware of.

There is a great article by Dr. Melanie Stiassny on this species in Cichlids Yearbook Vol. 6, pages 53 to 57. I would recommend you purchase a copy of this fine book and check out this article. It will surely give you more information on its systematics, husbandry, and spawning that you could ever imagine.

I did not..

I'll see if it's for sale at the ACA convention!

Hi Mark,

I have not. Not really interested enough to invest $22 in a pdf...

Matt, do you mind me asking if you have a book collection on the cichlids you are interested in?

Books, what are those??!

Seriously, though - I have plenty of books on the cichlids and otherfish that interest me (many signed by the authors). And have access (as a member) to CRC and ACA resources to boot...

Do you own any of Konings's Cichlid Yearbooks?

Probably...I know that I have several of Koinings's books...and Lamboj's on West Africans...I don't currently have access to a lot of my books (moved earlier this year)...so can't give you a complete list.

The fish in question (Sarotherodon caudomarginatus) was the fish on the home page of CRC when I logged in one day in April...and I had a passing interest whether anyone was keeping them.

Why the 3rd degree?
