Frontosa has white spots (not ich)

Postby Sothoth » Wed Sep 15, 2010 1:21 am

My frontosa has one white "pimple" looking spot a few months ago. It seemed to slowly go away, but in its place sprouted two more. Attached is a picture. Any thoughts?

A Lesion? (Fronts are pretty clumsy but always appearing in the same general area on that side of his head?)
A Parasite?

Hi Sothoth,

I am not sure what that could be? Definitely would increase the water changes and keep an eye on them. It could be from injuries, but they usually never look the same?

Sorry wish I could be of more help, but it is very hard to diagnose fish when you can't see them in person.
